Mels3D Pi Pro V1 is an Octa-Core 3D printer Motherboard based on Raspberry Pi 2040. The RP2040 is a 32-bit dual ARM Cortex-M0+ whereas, Mels3D Pi Pro Zero is the created for making the development of Pi Pro V1 simpler and cheaper as Marlin Hal coding is complex with more peripheral pins.

Conceived in early 2021, finalized on October 27, 2022, and proudly published on GitHub on July 16, 2023, Chronos integrates a unique internal ring gear mechanism that enhances movement in both the X and Y axes, while introducing a Theta axis for dynamic tool head capabilities.

What began as a DIY craft blog, Man Meets Tech, where Mel created fascinating gadgets, has evolved into Mels and now Mels 3D LABS, specializing in 3D printing and engineering. Over the past decade, we’ve faced challenges like limited resources and tools, developing our own techniques to craft sophisticated machinery along the way. By preserving Mel's visionary ideas, the Mels 3D LABS team is innovating and growing every day, expanding their knowledge and skills. MELS 3D LABS FILAMENT RESEARCH

3D printing is an extremely time consuming process that creates enorumous quantities of test prints. Without testing, technology cannot develop and evolve. Hence it is essential to recycle the test prints to reduce test costs and purchase of raw material (PLA) for printing. By developing a filament extruder machine, the material can be 100% recycled. At the same time developing our own bio plastic from plants would be a game changer that could reduce material cost by 60-80%. It may take a while to develop these two innovative workflow. But at the same time it is essential to mention these two corner stone research rather than listing them in the basement of the design page.
